Renae Townsend
As the Executive Director, Renae is responsible for the overall management of the agency and its operations. This includes the supervision and coordination of the volunteer advocate program which provides services to abused and neglected children. Moreover, Renae is a passionate voice in our community, conveying the mission of CASA, the impact on children’s lives, and the reasons volunteers and donors should support our work.
Powhatan CASA Supervisor
Deirdre Vaughan
Deirdre Vaughan is the supervisor for the Powhatan CASA program, where she utilizes her extensive expertise in training and collaboration. Her career in human services is distinguished by her significant work in South Africa, aiding those impacted by HIV through partnerships with NGOs. In Powhatan, she oversees the support of CASA volunteers, ensures children receive proper advocacy, manages volunteer training and case coordination, and supports the overall CASA program.
